Iterative design is design that proceeds from initial ideas and is continually refined, revised and improved to produce a final design solution. Driving this process are project goals and budget; as the design moves through the process, goals should come into alignment with budget as tradeoffs are made.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about solar generators. I guess it was the recent hurricanes that had me thinking about how my house and family would fare in a natural disaster. If the grid goes down and stays down for any length of time we don’t have anything in place to get us through that stretch. Seems sub-optimal.
